Yeah, its on E85. No need to argue with someone who compares a form of fuel to nitrous. lol

Still would be disappointed if that was my built SS. No way a 140trap car should of pulled him that hard.

Am i missing something?? Last time I checked you have to still change out pullies to make boost adjustments on centris...

I calling complete BS that a forged 5th gen with a maggie traps anywhere close to 140.

Show me some proof that they do.

Problem with the Maggie is that its a small blower. Even on stock cubes it would be easy to max the blower out on a forged engine. Id agree with Ohio. 128-132 TOPS @ full weight. Now take out some weight and throw in a shot then yea it could hit 140 or more just not gonna do it with a maggie alone. Big twin screw would get it done also.

I read somewhere you can do a wastegate setup with centris and setup a boost controller. Almost 100% sure it's been done.

I read built engine thinking it was a big cube engine. I didn't read into it enough to see it was only a forged bottom end. With our cubes at moderate boost (8lbs) you can easily get 130 traps. All i'm saying is for the civic to have pulled him that hard that thing must be trapping much less.

Yes, this is true^^^. You can setup a wastegate on a centri and control it that way.

Im throwing out trap speeds out of what I THINK it would trap. I wouldn't base your bench racing on that lol. Car should trap anywhere from low 140s to low 150s. Some where in that range.

Either way if I got raped that hard with a 600+ rwhp setup I'd be thinking up ways to make my car fly haha.

4000lbs @600rwhp = 2000lbs @ 300hp
2000lbs @600hp = 4000lbs @ 1200hp
correct?
(this is assuming all other things equal i.e. traction and what not)

Torque torque torque. Weight matters less at higher speeds.

Too many factors.

You can do it this way. But it can be a PITD. I rather keep it setup to just change pulley.

One I know local is going to a 427 lsx block with smallest pulley Maggie makes. And a specially shaft for it. I knew some one else ran that shaft on his 408/Maggie G8. He broke 2-3 of them. He is now TT.
