im aware of that but why go with a ls6 cam when theres otheres that would have put him in the 450 ish range thats what i was saying

both of those cars are/were mine. the blue/yellow 69 is my track car. it ran 9.9's as it was in that pic. if i ever get off my lazy *** and get it back to the track on the current engine, she should be in the mid/high 8's.

i just bought the car a few months ago i havent even taken it to the track yet ive been working on it upgrading the suspension and other parts getting it ready to change the 10 bolt and do h/c with possibly a procharger i havent decided, i havent been on this forum mudch to really update it. its reminding me why everybody seems to like to be shitbags. god forbid someone say the 5.0 is **** on a ls1 forum oh no

yea....i don't give a dam what name is on the fender. a fast car is a fast car. my preference is towards the mustang......but if i had felt that the camaro gave me the better bang for the buck, and looked as good inside and out(in my opinion) i'd be driving a 2ss right now. or is that an ss2?

and you should run your car before you touch it so you can have a good baseline....but i guess you already knew that.

hey i didnt disrepect anyone until they started with me you seem to be more resonable. i didnt care about the baseline becasue i had terrible wheel hop issues that i had to take car of so i changed everything while i was under it cause its a pita.

then you learn to drive around it. that is part of getting a baseline....and having a baseline is important to know, so you know how well your mods are working.

i basically based it off of my previous car (ws6) i had cam gears etc. and the wheel hop was just to bad. the shocks were worn i guess and it was lowered without the reloc brackets so it was a nightmare if i allowed it to stay that way my rear would be toast, but its coming along it was sluggish at first once i threw on the lid and change the other stuff it started waking up. i have an idea of where it should be i barely race it so im just building it for fun.
