Mach 1 vs LS3 Camaro

This conversation is hilarious. The Aluminator makes no more power than a stock Mach 1 (same compression on the high CR version) and the strength of the internals are on par with a Termi motor. So basically it's an aluminum Termi motor or a Mach motor with forged internals. While I do consider it a swap, it's more of a replacement to a Mach 1 than a LS6 will ever be to a Camaro.
I have complete logic......how could I have got a stock engine to go low 11's with out logic. Has your vagina havin *** did that yet?

Your car is no where near stock in any way , you did your homework and put together a good performer but stock and your car should not be used in the same sentence. And no my car has only ran a 12.6 at 109.83 with a 1.89 60' on 17 inch rims with Dr's with a few less mods than in my Sig but according to people on here it takes n20 to get these cars to hit 12's .

Kinda hard not to use stock when the longblock is a stock production piece....I don't know how else to say it.......and thanks.
Just made a couple more changes to it. Hopefully it pics up another 8-10rwhp and rwtq.
It's not that we think they need n20 to go 12's. It's the lack luster top end those cars have. When I went 12.6 (had the ls1 still) in my car my trap was almost 113. You can get these cars to trap 110 with only free mods.

The LS6 shares its basic block architecture with the GM LS1 engine, but other changes were made to the design such as windows cast into the block between cylinders, improved main web strength and bay to bay breathing, an intake manifold and MAF-sensor with higher flow, a camshaft with higher lift and more duration, a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1, sodium filled valves, and a revised oiling system better suited to high lateral acceleration.

I know of a 02 z28 that had some knocking under acceleration. Under warranty at a dealership. A bonafide ls6 crate motor was installed as replacement. I took him to the dealership, saw the work order and engine in the crate. Complete with c5 batwing pan,c5accesory drive and ls6 intake. It even had the ls6 clutch assembly attached.
No hookups at the dealer. Just brought it in under warranty. And bout a week later it was running again.
Turned out it had cracked.ring lands and 2 bent rods.the ls1.
Dont know if this was common, but i saw it with my own eyes. Years later when he went 6.0. I tore down the motor and evrything was there, yellow sprngs,ls6 cam, block,.
Hell he still.have those ls6 heads in his 6.0 silvy.
Camaro is long gone.(ran 9s with the 6.0 and n20).
Perhaps there is other cars out there with the dealer installed ls6. Idk. But its possible.

Sure it's a bolt-on car. It just has a ls6 in it. So I compare it c5 z06 times. When the ls7 goes in I will compare to c6 z06 bolt-on times......although I'm sure those guys wouldn't want me on their list.
In current form if it still had the ls1 in it it would run about 11.8+/- @ 118-120.
