I feel you on that. I was going to trade my '98 in for one back in '02 but the styling was just too bland. Still don't understand why Ford made the GT look more appealing than the Cobra of that year.

The cobra I have sucks as far as looks. well nothing really different as far as looks compare to the 99 gt They did it better in 01 with different interior rear bumper ect. But the 01 gt still looks better. Now the 03 cobra way better looking car hands down.

I call bs on your hp ratings to almost lose to a Mach 1 everyone here with any knowledge of modern muscle knows that the 40 anniversary was the only beast in the Mach 1 in 04 but the 5th gen is a joke compared to legends like ws6s and Firehawks but I've got a date with my firehawk with a few bolt ons vs one of the mystical Mach 1 with the same upgrades and make sure to report the kill

The '99 GT had the non-functional hood scoop, raised spoiler, rectangular fog lights, and wheels that look much more attractive than the '99 Cobra IMO. You could almost mistake the Cobra for a base model if you're not careful. lol
