Actually, I've noticed my A4 lags alot from a 40 roll, 30 is a bit better. One thing i found out after the retune for stall, is that my shift points are way to low, and need to be up'd to 6400 RPM, and maybe up the rev limiter to 6700.

I could of pulled him a lil worst than that, lol.

Yup a4 cars have some terrible dead spots...but holding a gear, or running 3rd and punching it on the second honk, (which doesn't get you moving till the third honk is over ) gets you in the game even on a stock 'verter.

I've been trying that, even going down to 1st from a 30 roll, works good but have to be fast to shift to 2nd.

Still taking it easy, this new trans is about 1,100 miles in. So dont want to give it too much abuse.
