Proper driven manual cars are faster up untill a certian level of mods. After a converter this can change. Makes sense now.

Factory battery weighs 54lbs according to my home scale.

I have a badass carbon fiber heavy duty (daily driver intended) 20lb battery if anyone is interested. I don't want to cut up my battery tray to make it fit properly because it's half the size. Things only a year old and kept charged. $100 or trade for a properly fitting optima battery. ?? Once in a lifetime opportunity fellas - especially those of you with a battery relocate! PM me.

my ex wife was driving the ta...i wouldn't say it was "properly" driven...but in her defense she didn't do too bad. she could always out mph me at the track in it. i think it was the weight advantage, she swore it was her ba talent.

I have noticed that the cheap line of auto craft bateries from advance are a lot lighter than say the exact same size delco, interstate etc. they have a lot less warranty too. Maybe less material?

Not with 1100 cold cranking amps though! And it is actually a carbon fiber case. Of course, I was not aware I would have to cutup my battery case to make it work properly as it's only the size of a big motorcycle battery... Lite as hell though! I pick it up with two fingers and giggle every time.
