Impressive car tbh. People need to get this ricer **** mentality out of their head that "your spent x money could have been spent on this." Yeah well if I wanted to be a ****** I would've spent $80 on a ******* gay *** civic and run 9s all day but I'd still be a ****** at the end of the day.

But still... This 2v is nothing when compared to a mach1.

I agree. I hate the "I went that fast for less money" argument. It's played out and means nothing.

I'll probably have some more vids of his car once the weight reduction and cooler temps come. Not sure when he's moving up in boost though.

Let's set up a race between this 2V and a geared/H-pipe Mach 1. Should be a close race.

Thats one stout 2V. Majority of them don't get respect because they are turds. It would've been cool if the owner kept the GT badges. Don't be ashamed of your 2v lineage, lol.

I told him he should put it back that way. He did the cobra stuff when he slapped a smaller KB on there when the engine was stock. It would be way cooler to see it looking like a stock GT running mid 10's at low 130's, haha.

RIGHT! If it was all about performance per dollar, everyone would own the same car. All other car companies would go out of business. The monopoly would skyrocket prices due to the market being cornered and racing as we know it would end.

While we're at it, we should all like the same sports teams and tv shows. That way all of the pro sports leagues and tv stations collapse.

I don't guess you can call anything that fast turdy....but it sure took alot of effort for a 2v to get there. Good running 2v as far as that goes.

Sharp looking car that moves out and has a lot left in it. What more can you ask for?

It's generally the battle cry of people who know they're beat.

What are the specs on your build?
That's just a shitload of boost Haha haven't seen one that high. Mine has an MMR900 shortblick, stock heads, turbo cams and 76mm Turbonetics T series turbo. I'll be running 14psi on pump gas

I'll get some details on the third gen. I'm pretty sure he said it was turbo'd but I'm not sure what engine platform he is running.

Sweet man, thanks. And that is a very respectable 2V GT. Def wouldn't expect that thing to move like that on the street!

No doubt he'll be in the 10's in no time. I've never seen a 2V run 10's before. I know they have, just haven't seen it.

...come to think of it, I've never actually witnessed another 2V make it out of the 13's.

Roughly 600rwhp. The shortblock and the supercharger are built to run on 26lbs of boost. He's only running 15 right now. Just shows what can be done with a 2V. No compromise in streetability.

This car is also 100% full weight. He has skinnies but he also picked up at least that amount of weight back with his mods.
Runs good. I don't think many here will be suprised to see a built motor, H/C Whipple GT in the bottom 11's. Been done many times. I'd be shocked to see one do that on motor though.

Damn dude, you must not get out to the track much, or there are just a bunch of slow 2v's in your area. Two-valves suck for the most part N/A but they love boost! I think the old S281 Extreme's went 11s stock or with very little work.
