Car definitely moves out. Lol at all of the 2V disrespect. I know I do it myself though. We always take bets on which 2V/3V Mustang will break into the 13's at our 1/4 strip.

I still don't like the Cobra badges though... He should have just kept the GT badges

Proved me wrong, not ALL 2V's are slow. There seem to be a few fast ones. Guess they're like TPIs... rarely fast but nonetheless impressive when they run strong.

And I'd be willing to bet, when you include purchase price, he doesn't have much more in his car than you do. Maybe less. That's like telling someone who bought a 2012 5.0 or a 2012 SS that they could have just put an LSX into the 9's.

So stop being a troll.
Thank you !! Lol nice running 2v hell runs better than a lot of 4v lol

We have a local 2v GT that has bolt ons and a cam and he runs 13.20's in 5000+da. Lows 12's with good air would be possible I think. Still has sock heads too.

I seen 2v break 12s here all motor. It's the trap speed what's impressive on that 2v.

Wait until he does his weight reduction and gets some better DA and some more seat time. 130+ traps are coming easy. And that setup has a TON of power left on the table with a simple pulley swap and tune.

Good running car and its fast. Seen many 2 valves in the low 12s with just bolt ons and boost. I know a local 2valve with spray and built that runs 10s in a stock appearing car. They are slow stock but can run with mods like any other car.

We are 1hr 10min directly east of Thompson. Meadville, PA. Norwalk is pretty far, so we don't race there. Thompson is the only nice track within a reasonable driving range. We are hopefully getting my car back together this week or next week. You should meet up with us sometime.

Sounds like it runs good. Know what gears he is running?

Ahh, ok that explains some then. My car should be wrapping up pretty soon. I've never ran at Thompson but I'd like to try it out this year.

Nice but there are early circa 1990s LT1's doing that (130+ traps) on MOTOR!!

I just find it funny when people get overly excited when they see a fast FI Two valve when there has been MANY over about the last decade or so.

2v's are like civics.. It's rare for a fast one but when you run across the fast ones they attended to lay a raping.. We have a local 2v runs 11.9@114 but its a stroker build. Sounds good I give him that but weak for a stroker nonetheless

11.9@114 sucks for a completely built motor these days.

All motor 38Xci LT1's have done 140+mph on motor. And that was years ago.

But we're talking about a car that is a full weight daily driver. This car is definitely capable of close to 140mph traps once he swaps pulleys.

Not really a dd once he does a pulley swap and puts race gas in it.

I'm just referring to how it's running now and the fact that the power is basically right there waiting for him if he ever chooses to use it. He can easily break 130mph traps and keep it as a summertime DD as it sits right now.
