Manny there is nothing wrong with your set up, thats a max effort set up that prob isnt being used even close to its full potential, i can tell you for one that stock gears in a ms anything isnt going to run all that well, 4.10s minimum, if you have a 10 bolt and your going to be running that for awhile there worth to do for the time being just dont get crazy and break it, i cant see your sig but what are the details on your car, max effort cams need max effort parts, i also would like to know more info on the 2v, ya never know with a 2v, i have seen some vortech ones run high 13s but then on the street ya can run into a guy running alot of pounds lol

Good points BUT definitely not a max effort setup with production heads, stock compression, and a MS3. Still should run great once the bugs are worked out.

A few years ago I ran a 04 GT that was bolt-ons with a Vortech at 11lbs I think. He said it made a touch over 400rwhp. My car was bolt-ons and 3.90 gear from a 35 roll to 110 we were door to door two times in a row. The stang did have a passenger and I was alone though.

If the 2v stang is like he said it was OP you've got problems.

OP you NO DOUBT probably has outrun every bolt-on LS1 you've come across. IIRC you posted bids a long time ago where you were basically stock and out ran a new 5.0 and now that you are H/C you can't out run a ~400rwhp 2v....something isn't adding up here.

Stock injectors with a MS3 and 243s? That isn't right, you should have needed injectors with just the cam. What exactly do you mean "stock exhaust"?

A big cam car can't be thrown together...if you don't have your **** together it will be a huge disappointment. Sounds like you have a lot left to do to have a properly running car.

I 100% agree with above post. I believe you are running out of fuel in a bad way fast which is probably why that donkey dong cam of yours isn't making power past 6000rpm. Give that sucker more fuel on the injector and pump side retune and you'll be set. Assuming your tuner knows what he's doing as well.

True. And honestly I was getting despret to get it out the driveway so I just put it together without good injectors. Also when it was tuned my starter was not working properly so my tuner was getting frustrated.

Wouldn't your tuner(sp) tell you if you were running out of fuel though?

Any track times for your car or the GT?

I would think he would tell me but didn't mention it. I think the gt ran 7.9 at the 1/8 mile and none for mine yet
