Man those guys are on par with mach1 owners with so much jeep loving... Jeez. Clearly didn't understand I said I thought they were limited to 120-130 STOCK, since my roommates grand cherokee in the US was limited to like 125 or some ****. Figured hell srt8 might be the same ****.

well guys from someone that owns both, and already has had 5 camaros before, let me tell you they haul A$$ even in stock form, mine does 8.5 in the 1/8 while my 04 , 6spd gto 's best was 8.7, also they go up to 160 stock, you have a well built gto that is surely running in the 11's, so for him to be pulling like that up to 160 must be pushing close or a little bit more than 600whp, they are quick , but mostly from a dig, and some of the most powerful cars that i ve raced in the 1/8 ,i win but if it was a 1/4 they would have won, after 80 or 90 you hit a wall in the jeeps, so it was probably s/c, turbo, or big engine with H/C, anyway sounds like it was a hell of a run!!!, hopefully we'll know who it was soon.

well ohioborn last time i checked and bought parts for my jeep and my gto parts were almost the same price, and part for part the jeep still quicker....ohh and the 2 5.0's and the saleen i had blew their engines because they couldnt handle boost. but other than that i'd take a ZL1 over a GT500 anytime.( and a viper over any of those, ;-) )

i'm not saying faster than a new 5.0 or gt500, i said gto,(that's what he raced ) and even though a gt500 might be a tad quicker than the one livernois has even though they were running those numbers after just having the zl1 for 2 weeks, when the road begins to have curves that's where the zl1 outshines it and also outsines the "boss" as all magazines have proved...i'm a horsepower junkie, i ve had them all camaro's, trans am's , mustangs, saleens,viper trucks,evo's, don't get me wrong, but still the jeep will be quicker than a gto, mod for mod.(still have both)

I'm a new member on here as of a few weeks ago and Ive been a member on the Cherokee SRT8 forum (different user name) for about 6 months. I live in the Mill Creek/Bothell WA area and I think I know the Jeep you ran across. I have never met him but I have pulled up next to him at a light before and at an idle it was whining pretty good, I think it's blown. I've seen him cruising through the Bothell area a few times. I don't believe he is a member on the Cherokee forum or at least not an active one because I have posted him on the PNW spotted thread and never seen him reply.

I’m not remembering the hood but I may have missed it. I told my buddy about this thread because he sees this jeep around town too and apparently he knows where the guy lives. It’s on my way home from work so I’m gonna cruise through later today and see if I can spot it.
