But lettuce be cereal here, Who's more of a dumbass? the guy with the rwd weight reducted car that can't get out of the 11s or the guy with the civic running mid 10s on his first pass in a wrong wheel drive car?
Haha... Don't forget the guy foolin with a stock engine, no power adder and in street trim, in a reliable car that can drive anywhere on 89 octane if need be with the ac on. Also the guy that has good enough suspension to go do track days and not just go straight.

If I wanted to do what this guy did, race a shell of a car I would already be in the mid 10's......with a ******* stock motor, with stock reliability that has lasted 80,000 miles and when I go to the track gets hot lapped 9+ times in a row. This guy will be lucky to get to 5,000 miles in the form he runs it.

There are lots of variables and ways to look at things. The cards dealt when dealing with a honda are not even remotely acceptable to me.

not totally tru homie... oil hungry yes... blow up... only the tuner can cause that... I was well over 100k miles before i built my motor. I don't have to swap in another motor to make it fast or take shyt out... my full weight built STi handles very well thank you. Only hondas that have passed me have been on a trailer or tow truck... or so overly built it not worth it for me to race...lol. I'm no Honda nut buddy but what i think you guys are still missing is that money will make anything fast... who really gives a shyt if its 4,6,8,10, or 12 cylinders... i can drive my STi all year round in any weather. Thats why the V stays in the garage on rainy days and snow. Can't do that in a 500+hp rwd anything... And i get just as good gas mileage as a Civic...lol

I run 10.40s@137mph with a 1.4-1.5 60fts. I love drag racing and I drag race weekly. But on saturday nights I do enjoy some good roll racing. Sometimes it is fun to take the launch and traction out of the race and just let horsepower do the talking.

Many props to you. Not many v8 guys would say that much on roll racing.

This must be how most domestic enthusiast view Honda owners.

That is one of the only few FWD cars I like. Goes low 8s which I think is somewhat impressive.

Other than that I think they're wrong wheel drive. I have no quarrels with them, because I'm a true car guy, if thats what people like that is what people like. If they make me happy to watch, I will respect them.

Not trying to get into an argument at all with this, but here goes.

Lightning Teg,

Hugger1975 and I are heading out your way on Aug 5th to run at us41 dragway so if you are interested in coming out shoot me a PM. Might have a few people from the site go as well. I'd rather go to Byron but with my travel schedule and Jay's work Schedule this is the best we could come up with.

Lol ok I won't correct your spelling anymore . I actually mess up my spelling all the time on here and I think maybe I sounded more serious than I was...I really don't care, most of us don't .

You actually can't say whatever you want on here, but close lol. I do agree with you though, we have our own opinions and I know you were just bs'ing like we all do on here. I was out of line for pokin' at ya though, and since I dished it out I can take it back.

I really don't care for civics all that much personally, but it's hard not to respect something that flat out hauls like that. I doubt the rider was great but it's still impressive for the civic to run like that in my books. It wouldn't be something I'd buy or want to own though.
