Lol...yea we all could, but for car that was put together for less than what a s/c kit would cost i doubt it. I could build a pos v8 car that could drag my current car but for a turd that was put together with spare parts laying around and the car costed me 75bucks with working a/c why not.

Like i said your car is fast for what it is...But something dosen't add up with the hp claims on the mustang..Im all about having a sleeper car,but that mustang sounded too queit for the hp that it claims to make..Even if you traped 10mph faster theres no way in hell you would pull that fast on him in such a short distance..

well ill post the other vid of our rematch and im sure you can here his car this time that seems to be the deal breaker. We raced again from 40 and 60 this time he had no passengers and was in the right gear.

do you not read the posts in the thread you are sounding like an idiot in?

The owner of the car said he left in 3rd @ a low rpm and people have said many times the stand had 4 people in it. and he even said how much whp the stang makes. im not sure how hard it could be to put together that those two factors could cause him to fall back that hard.

Maybe you are the idiot..Go calculate the distance a 140mph car would put on a 130mph car in a mile and get back to me....That race wasnt even a 1/4 mile.

Look at the second video of the 466rwhp vette and you will notice he dosent put buses on it...Im calling bs on the mustang ...

Well to do that you would need some sort of rate of acceleration to start off. saying something is a 140 or 130 car really doesnt say much in this instance since they started from a roll. So maybe their mph gain over the 2nd 1/8 would be a good starting point to have.
Then some approximate weights.
To make this easy you would have to neglect various things such as possible traction issues and and difficulty with each shift that might cause any sort of acceleration loss.


there are a few other things i could use to properly calculate that distance for you if it would make your ability to understand the original race better.

When i ran that 466hp vett i was way slower then. it takes me about 4_5sec to get from 65mph to 140mph. In 11.1 sec it takes me from 0~ 139mph on my old setup, in the run with the stang i went from 60~140. Just wait till the new vids get posted.

My buddies vette traps 140 in the 1/4. I was trapping 130 and it walked away bad from me. Now I have trapped 134 same thing happened. From 40-140 he had least 2 buses on me both on 130 vs 140 trap.

It's truly a bad *** motor. It is very similar to the LSx in that it's a proven platform that can be swapped into damn near anything at a relativity cheap price.

This, I do like what you have done to the car. Are you trying to get chicks? No, but if you needed a car to get chicks I'd think less of you. You built that car to be what you want, not to appease others. That is the essence of hotrodding right?

Acceleration does have something to do with the outcome...What makes me skeptical about the hp claims of the mustang is that car should produce alot more torque than the mirage and would pull instantly from the hit..
