* I openly admit to granny shifts. I can pound them in the slobalt, hugger not so muck. Was kinda relying on the power and nos to take me easily into the 11's but it was not gona happen :-(

Will bimmer is the quietest sleeper I ever saw.
I swear I saw his pinky out, while sippin a latter, throwin gang signs and steamin thru the traps mid 12's

rofl, I had in car footage of the race. I'll just leave that here.

I think i'm going to do a few more tweaks and shoot for low 12's/high 11's in cooler weather come fall. Oh, and still be quiet like stock

I knew traction was going to be an issue when the first car, what appeared to be a stock mach 1 with hoosier drag radials spun all of first chirp the 1-2 and then 2-3 shift and ended up running low 13s all day at like 103 mph. I swear i saw a few trailered cars make a 1-2 passes spin like a **** and feather the throttle, then afterwards load em back onto the trailer and leave.
I dont know what all of huggers mods are but i will let him chime in on that, all i know is that that the nitrous is a 110 dry shot. I ended up making 3 passes in huggers car (first time driving an fbody in like 6 years at least) lets say his 2-3 and 3-4 was a bit tricky to hit. 1st pass i had the nitrous armed, i was not used to the 4.11s and how quickly the shift light came on( i have a c6z06 and my 1st gear goes to 60mph) nailed the 1-2 went to hit the 2-3 and was locked out of gear, i coasted for a bit was about to abort the run and said F it and put it back into 3rd and hit 4th no problem. ended up with a 1.95 60ft 5.3 330 1/8 trap speed was 76mph and ended up running a 13.4 at 110. After getting a few pointers from hugger who said i had to really push 3rd to get it in and angle 4th a bit, i went back to make another pass, i forgot to arm the nitrous right and ended up doing an n/a pass. After a terrible burn out i launched like at 3k spun bad hit the 1-2 perfectly spun a bit babied the 2-3 just a bit, and nailed the 3-4 like my previous pass. Ended up with 60ft of 2.0, 330=5.5 sec(yeah i spun really bad) 1/8 i dont remember exactly but i think i trapped 89mph and ended up with a 12.67 at just under 115mph.
last run i armed the nitrous right and ended up running a car that went 11.89 at 115. I treed that guy but spun bad and ended up about almost 2 car lengths back. my 60t was a terrible 1.96 to his 1.60, but still managed a 5.2 sec 330 foot nailed the 1-2 shift and i stopped the other guys pull and began to reel him in hard, im right at the guys quarter panel shift light comes on and and im thinking about to freight train him , go to hit 3rd and get locked out i was like noo, dropped back over a car, i finally find 3rd and get back on it i stop his pull and again an begin to creep back im at his back bumper shift light comes back on go to hit the 3-4 shift and get locked out again! I was like WTF and just aborted the run and ended up coasting and hitting the brakes early. But still missing 3rd gear i still went 8.1 at 88.55 mph and after missing 4th and hitting the brakes early i ended up with 13.2 at 75mph.

This is why I don't like 4.10 much. Just when ya get goin good you run out of gear. What rpm are you turning? I went 122 hard on the limiter a good bit before the trapps @6800 on stock height tires. Just a fyi, the gear calculater on fbody.org was about 3-4mph faster than I could go with 4.11.

Thanks Dark ;-)

And I don't wana blame the tires, although bald I thought they would grab. Was odd to me that I couldn't just drop it hard at 5k. Don't sticks get their best 60 from a hard *** launch? I was doin 1.7 consistant at Byron all day N\A

How old are those MT's? I wonder if they dry out over time because you haven't driven it much in the past two years. Just feeling them compared to mine they don't feel as soft.

Thanks good sir, there is always another time like this fall. Got some things I'm tweaking first and hopefully catch some cooler air.

Thanks you sir. I'm impressed with how it did for how little it has done to it.
