Default 2006 CTS-V vs 1976 Camaro

Background story... This camaro has been in the shop being worked on for a while and today it was finally brought out. Everything on it was up to par and in working condition. I can't speak on its mods, but it looked to be Edelbrock intake and Holley carbed with headers and some weight reduction. Looked like either a 3 or 4 speed manual.

I was basically enticed into the race from a dig, which is basically the worst for any first gen V due to our suspension (although I've worked a bit on mine)

This was the burnout

This was as good of a race as we could pull on that street. LOL At least its semi-daylight and its a video, goddamn it. LOL

I pulled on 1st, continued to pull on 2nd, and had put about 2+ car lengths in 2nd and was already up to 3rd.

I'm waiting on the better video to get emailed to me... I think they got my burnout in it too. idk

I honestly have no idea. I have no idea on what engine is in there either. Everything I've been told seems wrong. I was told LT1, but didn't look like it. I was told it was an 8 second car... but I don't think that would be correct even in the 1/8th. Maybe high 8s at best. Owner was a cool guy, I just think he's been given bad info on what the car is. Apparently it was originally a fuel injected engine then they carb converted it.

There's another car in the shop... its an old import 4 cyl with dual weber carbs and headers... Its a '10 second car' from what I've been told. From what I've seen, its maybe a 15 second at best. Makes noise, goes nowhere, no tire spin and I know it doesn't have Trac Control or any of that fanciness to stop it, either. LOL
