Yeah, I generally prefer standing behind the cars or alongside the cars with at least a good lane distance and a curb separating me from the car - not being able to reach out and touch the car racing

Whenever I go to meets and guys are running, I like to stand as close as possible and see who will give me high-fives as they go past.
