That's about what I figured. I have had my LT1 since it was stock and know what they should run. My girlfriend of 3 years has an 04 Type S with nothing but a K&N CAI. So, I was curious to find out the end result. Congrats!

Currently, her RSX will run door to door with my heavy truck, which is about even with most 2V Mustang GTs (15.80-16.0). The car is very quick for what it is, and really surprised me when I first took it for a spin.

Here in Lubbock (3200' above sea level), stock, they typically run high 15s/low 16s, whereas a LT1 would be high 14/low 15.

For reference, a local kid had a full exhaust/Hondata tuned Type-S that went 9.80s 1/8th mile, and her's was running 10.30s bone stock with me driving. Same day, same track. They respond very well to modifications.

That really shows the effect that DA has on ETs... my '94 Integra GS-R ran 9.70s in the 1/8 with nothing but a different muffler. A well-driven RSX-S in the same conditions should be a tenth or two quicker. So cars are over a half-second slower there than they are at sea level.

Yes sir! Typically, an N/A car can see .8 gain going from here to Houston (sea level). Half second gain isn't uncommon from here to Dallas (500'). Even though our elevation is 3200', our DAs usually range anywhere from 4000 to 5500.

I have raced in 6500DA weather before not too far from here in Hobbs, NM. Talk about slowing down! Wow!! I bracket raced my LT1 locally for 5 years and it was a consistent 13.40 - 13.80 car depending on DA. The best I could muster up that day in Hobbs was a 14.10. Sadly I had "13." decals on the windshield and I would just fill in the tenth and hundredth numbered I wanted with chalk. Haha...I had to cross out the 13. and replace it w/ 14.xx.

DA has a HUGE effect on NA cars. 3200 DA would be about a half second for a lightly modified car. From the DA that I usually see, 5000-8000, it can be up to as much as 1.1-1.2 seconds. Only chance us elevated guys have is going FI unfortunately.

It won't let me post the video but I'm still working on it and yes I figured my car did well against it too and I ran a 13.90 with bald tires and haven't been since I got my DR's but going this weekend. Lol and yes with the mods he has it was a tough run from the roll.

Sounds like some close runs Op. Prob closer than what most people on here expected
FWIW, 02-04 Rsx-s is 200hp, 4.4Fd
05-06 Rsx-s is 210hp, 4.7Fd, Bigger Ex/IM/Cams
Oh n I Trapped 96.7x Mph in my 06 Rsx-s (Bone Stock down to the shitty Tires) in 100 degree weather at Auto club Speedway. (Fontana, Ca)

He was saying that the '05+ RSX-S has different cams than the '02-'04 cars... it's not like they are aftermarket.

Lol. Maybe I should have worded it diff. 05+ rsx s have more aggressive cam profiles vs. 02-04 Rsx.
(this was like 4 yrs ago) I broke a Mount that day at the track on my second run I believe, If I remember correctly.
As for my E.T., the one run I did get in I missed fourth gear like a moron! 15.0 was the et, going from 1st-3rd Gear only lol)

The second time I took it to the track I over slept n couldn't get in. 500 car limit for Street drags. But I did meet up afterwards with my buddy who had Run a 14.8 in his Mugen Si and 14.9 with his GF's Si. Same day they ran those times I raced both those cars. Beat the Mugen by about 2 cars n the regular by about 3 cars.

My friends bolt on rsx full weight would out run certain k-swap cars Which are NOT 98-99 mph cars. Jusy sayin, claiming 98-99 mph is what bolt on weight reducted rsx's run lol thats just false. 05-06's run around 95-96mph from factory. Now from MY experience depending on the setup they are 103-105 mph cars, most of the cam setups are 105-107 mph setups. I WISH i had slips from some local cars that ran great.

Built k24 making low 3's on motor in one an rsx ran door to door with a pulley bolt on e85 terminator with a SRA swap. Which is about 50-60whp more than what a cammed setup would make.

To be honest 221whp is REALLY weak for a cammed rsx, thats bolt on territory.

Not much be we all know that that setup is not a 103mph setup. How some people claim typical bolt on rsx's run.

Lol...dude don't get them started on that. I've said that before and they told me how stupid I was and called me all kinds of names and made me cry.

About every 1000' in da is about .1 added to your time. That's about how it adds up on the calculators. Of course there are other things such as track prep and your tune can very it.
