I might be biased a bit, but for the money you can't beat a Cobalt SS/TC Sedan for a daily driver when you factor together price/performance/age. I have Conti DWS XTRM Contacts for my all-season tires and they do decent in the snow. This car would do work in the snow with some good winter tires, I'm just too cheap to spend $700+ for a good set.
