LOL....you ain't foolin no one about pedaling that pos around.....2v 5.4.....lmao what a turd. It's not that it won't do it.......it just does it very slowly....lol Did all it's spark plugs stay in? They had a real problem with those flyin out. What about changing those plugs and having them break off in the head?? another common problem....what about exhaust mani cracking and the studs breaking that holds them on? The front ends was worse than my 2500hd chevy....and I was'nt happy about it.
Sounds like you might be the bias one....or atleast in denial.

It is my opinion thru my years of experience driving and learning about cars that c5 z06 without a doubt outperforms a 5.0 in every category be it stock for stock or mod for mod. The traits that the 5.0 has over the c5 z06 is that its new, more technologically advanced and its much easier to live with everyday.
I entertain the idea of tradding my vette for a 5.0 not because I think that the 5.0 is a better performing car but because at this point in time its a better all around choice.
I would never trade my c5 z06 for a c6 vette, specially since they share some of the same problems as the earlier generation, UNLESS it was a c6 z06.
Im still trying to decide what i will be doing, its not set in stone. I have been strongly thinking of getting rid of it but only time will...

Truck now has 184,000 miles on it.
It has spit two spark plugs, I threaded the first one back in and I used the Heli-Coil kit on the 2nd one ($40 from Napa).
The only coils I have replaced are the ones from the spark plug blowing out of the head. It breaks where the coil bolts to the intake.
It took me about 20 minutes in my driveway to use the kit and put the insert in the head for the spark plug.
The plugs are not hard to get out; you're thinking about a 3V motor, mine is a 2V, and have never had a problem with rain or water on the back coils.
Never have had any front end problems, matter of fact have never even had the front end aligned the whole time I've owned it. It doesn't pull or wear the tires uneven.
Also have not had any problems with the manifolds, still has all the stock exhaust on the truck.
Other than the spark plugs, the only other problem that the truck has had was at 105,000 miles the transmission shifter cable broke. I chalked that up to my wife not applying the parking brake when she parked in our driveway (we live on a steep hill).
So if having a truck that I feel has given me great service makes me bias, then so be it.
