The C5 is only a 430whp car. I willing to bet the C6 is close to that, and the cobra is 485. Seems like the numbers all make sense to the outcome.
Im talking about your runs vs the c6 Ls3..... But i get you, traction can be a bitch.

I still say the c5 cammed LS2 was substandard.... Especially now that i just saw him take off on that pullied cobra and get pulled back...

I think the LS3 should have pulled the cobra much harder... The weird thing is that the LS3 and LS2 C5 should be virtually around the same power... What would make a lot more sense was if the cobra turned out to be ported and his numbers were on a mustang dyno instead of a dyno jet...

Goes to show, you just never know...

very nice... yea that ls2 really was hurt. They way the ls3 vette pulled the ls2, i figured it trapped like 126. But then it was side by side with that cobra so i was very confused. Makes more sense now. Id love to run that ls3 vette

Edit: I think your 60ft is wrong on that vette lol

Very disappoint with the et/trap on the LS3, expected more out it for being on e85, especially since the dude could drive. Was expecting to se like a 124 trap out of that thing.... Wouldnt mind running that ls3 would be interesting...

Im still thinking the cobra was ported...

Nah, my setup is far from Ideal. I've been way to focused on numbers and not getting it to hook. The trans is gonna get a freshen over the winter, gonna get a real suspension so the car doesnt squat so hard, and get mounts and shifter bushings.

Should be a whole new car...

Expected alot more from that C5 LS2 Vette. Seems like something isn't working right.

Looked similiar to my runs a few months ago except the LS3 i ran wasn't on E85. Expected more from the T/A on the big end but it did hold its own on the lowend.

So the verdict is in that my Ls2 isn't running to its full potential and I am not arguing your statment but I would like to know why you feel that way? How can you support it? I dont want stories of some race that you and buddy had with someone one but why you feel its not running to its as hard as it should be? This is the first vett i've owned and I am not really sure what to expect from it.

Mods:

Ls2
Cam: not sure of all the specs but it has around .610 lift
stock heads
long tubes
level 5 rpm trans
