Thanks again everyone, this was the first time I had run this car at the track. Glad I did, as I know now where the car sits. As far as the street goes, the car is a blast to drive around. Last year, Rocky Mountain Raceway hosted an import shoot out. Bunch of guys came up from New York etc. I remember a few of them saying they lost between 2-4 psi just from the elevation...guys were pretty pissed. Factor in the heat, plus no air and loss of boost and that becomes a game changer.

Pertaining to the trap speed, I know some of you think I should be trapping more. But doesn't the auto loose some MPH up top apposed the an M6 car? Just curious is all.

Turbo cars are the least effected by DA. In fact they are almost barely effected. Your car is probably down 2mph from that air. What boost are you running in that? Possibly blowing through the converter.

In retrospect to the m6 vs auto. My buddies stock ls1 m6 f body on 10lbs through the turbo trapped 126. You arent losing 10mph through the auto. Your ET isnt half bad for its trap speed. But i would be more concerned with the trap.

Im just trying to help.. not sound like a dick. Honestly you have something going on there thats hurting either the power its making or the power its putting to the ground. Realistically you have enough motor to run those track times without the turbo.

I'm running 9psi on about 16 degrees of timing on pump. I hear what your saying about the trap speed and what the motor should run without the turbo. A buddy of mine swapped in an LS6 w/o H/C and has a 9" rear and full suspension mods. He ran 13.4 @ 105. As for mine, the car seems to be running strong and shifts flawlessly. How can you tell if your blowing through the converter? Im a newb in regards to the auto. I probably should check the turbo for shaft play as well.

Do you have a boost controller? What source is your boost gauge reading from?

I'm running an MBC and its hooked up to the side nipple on the wastegate and the fitting on the compressor cover. The thing that's throwing me off is the 5th GEN with the procharger. He's trapping 112 around the same boost level...give or take a psi or 2. We both have LS3's. Scratching my head on this one. I'm not quite sure everyone is correct about the DA. There's an local EVO making around 630AWHP over 30PSI on a 6262, and he's trapping just over 120. I'm just under 600RWHP. Seems my trap is in-line with the power its making and those close to it or more.
