H/c Ta vs bolt on 5.0 and C6

I'm from the big easy, sure I have numbers. Cool, like I said find restrictions in your setup. Your car has more potential in it. It's tough love but just take the advice and roll with it instead of saying it runs good for what it is. It's tough love but I don't want to see you loosing to your brothers 5.0 with bolt-ons.

Hey 5.0 guys, call me when your 5.0 can make in excess of 600rwhp Naturally Aspirated, like the LS3/L92. I won't hold my breath though. LS3 is superior hands down.
Carry on now.
Carry on now.

Please don't think I'm saying buy a fast intake etc, while that would help that's not what I mean. For instance look closely at your exhaust setup, intake tract etc something to improve on. It will add up, and no I really would not want to post up my accurate numbers. To many locals on here for that. I'll tell you what when I finish my new round of current mods and go back and run it I'll pm you the results.

The biggest question, for me anyway, is how in the heck can a 5 liter engine make 420 hp at the wheels. That is a technological marvel. Bolt on or not. That's high-tech professional race engine building stuff. So you should take that disbelief as a compliment.
A second question is whether 00silverGTP's h/c LS1 a good representation of the best, or even the average H/C LS1. No one doubt that it is a good running car, or that it makes 417 rwhp, but from what I understand many believe a H/C LS1 can make much more power.
Now as far as your, "anything can happen on the streets" argument, you do mean within certain limits right? Do you think a properly geared Toyota Supra making 280 rwhp max would possibly pull a car length on the bolt on 5.0 in the original video?
Anything can happen right? within limits.

I can type this big explanation about how I have experience with them bolt-ons and tuned, or you can go out and do it yourself and let us all know the results. Put the what ifs aside and do it. Meanwhile your brother can dial in his car and get that trap speed up.

The 5.4 4v did it years ago. It is only a matter of time before the 5.0 breaks 600 n/a carry on

Should be pretty affordable by that time. These cars don't hold their value like you'd think they would.
Picked it up on the 23rd. Traded my Lorinser unfortunately. Miss that car.
Thanks man.
Thanks!
Appreciate it Mike!
