Your making your first mistake by completely judging an entire make of a car by one street race of 2 cars you don't know anything about. 11.4 @126 on street tires with a car and driver" driver behind the wheel is far from an engineering fail.

Well I would hope c&d will be able to run a 11.4 with the power the cobra is putting down.. Still doesn't change the fact the new cobra will need 50-70more rwhp to keep from Bowin down to its older brother

There was a stock for stock run both starting in 3rd from 70mph to 180 the GT500 had a half car on the Z06 until 170 then the Z06 pulled back and put a half car on the GT500.

just read the times... Honestly... i was expecting more from both cars. 60-130 in 6.8 really isnt that fast for both of there power to weight ratio levels.
My buddies rx7 hit 5.9 60-130 and he makes 525whp. Hes actually going for hitting 4s. Also my buddies turbo cobra which was in no way dialed in when he made a run... did it in 6.3. Thats honestly why i like the vbox, its a much more accurate piece for figuring out which car is faster.
My GTO did it in 9.4 seconds. While i know of other stalled auto gtos with the same "whp" as mine that couldnt break a 12.0 60-130.

That's is not an accurate guess. Do you think I ran a 6.89 on that day, nope I ran a 7.98 on that last run with him. I would say he is a mid 7 car on that day at best. What you run in good to great conditions is not what you run in 100 degree weather in 2900 plus DA...lol

That's kind of the problem with some people that have vboxes. They try to internet race. The only time the numbers are usefull is when used on two cars in same conditions, same road and same time. Anyone can shave serious time off a 60-130mph run by finding a road that is a 2.9% decline. You have to factor in DA, temps, and everything else to make any sense of the data.

I am aware of that fact. Problem is you can't compare what you ran against others in different conditions. It doesn't work that way. I can pick up a second or more going from hot 2,900DA weather to cold 750DA weather. You were trying to compare different cars in different conditions, it just doesnt work like that. That is what I was trying to get across.

To do 9.4 s 60-130 mph on flat road you need to trap 120 mph. How is your friend going from 5.9 to high 4s with 525 whp? High 4s is trapping mid to upper 140's.

My GTO trapped 120 for starters. He made 525whp when he went 5.9 and trapped 140. The car has made 590whp and now has a bit more work to crest over just over 600whp.

Did no one catch where my 5TH GEN was able to hold it's own with only 100rwhp over a c6z?
Or is everyone avoiding it cuz LOL5THGEN SUX ANd new GT500 IS DA SHITZZERSSS MAN

Why, there is more to engineering than just going straight. I am sure there are many guys with both cars and I know of at least one. Even with a 9s cobra vs his 13 Shelby, it is the 03 cobra for sale. Yes it will destroy his 13 Shelby but it doesn't make it a better car.
