That was literally WOT on the launch and pinned the entire time.

And not to be that guy... but the same day there was a bone stock auto GT running 12.5 at 112. To me thats just sad that stock for stock, the current camaro supercar barely edges out a base stock auto gt

My 280Z pummeled a GTR and when he gets his rematch after his upgrades it'll happen again. Plus we have a GTR in our local group and he has big plans for it. He's already at 520awhp. I'm hoping to catch him before he hits 800+ next year...will post video.

Hitman what do you trap? Very similar CTS-V locally went 132mph.

Thanks, the GT-R in the video trapped 127 in the 1/4 mile. I've beaten the AMSzilla in this vid when I had less timing and boost in my tune. My car trapped 132mph in 100 degree temps. The V in the vid was beaten by another GT-R that has similar mods to me. He also beat the GT-R in this vid as well.

The V called me out while he was getting his car built but I moved to Germany before it was finished. From what I've seen it takes about 50-100whp for a V to pull on a GT-R.

they have tuning and heat issues. keep them cold and they are running 11's @ 117-120+ mph.

they have much more conservative tuning than the cts-v for some reason. if they get anywhere close to warm the computer pulls 8-10 degrees of timing RFN. it even happens half way down the track--- one guy ran a 12.0 @ 112 mph. it blasted through the 1\8th really fast then slowed right down.

the stock record it 11.77 @ 118.8 mph. quite a few have ran 11.9's and up to 120-121 mph.

Where are these quite a few located? I have never seen this happen. Fall temperatures racing in late october is as cold as your gonna get while still maintaining traction. Putting it to the floor and running 12.4 at 114 is what it is.

why does this upset you so much? i present you with facts and you get all pissy.

fact is the zl1 mostly runs like a POS due to shitty tuning and heat. kept very cool and some have run very well--- like they should. is it shitty that gm would make the car this way? absolutely. but i'll tell you what, it's a lot easier problem to fix than the irrepairable trans problems that the boss has.

Lol why would you build a car that heat soaks half way down the track and starts taking out timing? Doesnt sound right to me.
