Depends on your definition of "dog." Not much on top with the stock heads/cams (especially with the long 4th/5th gear), but they're decent enough from a dig. But agreed, it's always been too pricey to build one N/A for the price of a blower/turbo setup.

LS1rob - Yes, I did get the chance to run an 11 5.0 just before I left for deployment. I pulled 1 car, but it did put up a good fight! No BOSS yet... Haven't seen one out here near Africa.

2. Was it modded lol? Your car probably runs strong with the mods, point I'm trying to make is they're no slouch.
Intake, x pipe, tune and a good buddy of mine trapped 117.5mph, definitely impressive.
I've taken down a few myself though

blah blah blah blah BS BS BS BS BSThe light turned green and we went, and for some reason the mustang dissapeared in the background. lolz lolz lolz lolz lolz We where neck and neck up until around 60ish after that the mustang just fell further and further back. he he he he he he
EVERYTHING BETWEEN BoLD IS FILLER bs.
he will never race you again, shoot his mouth off, think he has anything but a TURD.
when my 96 was bolt-on i ran a LS-4th gen and at 80 mph its like i slammed on the brakes.... we started at 60ish lol. it took a 5.4 3v swap to run better than a tune only, stock ls1.

Funny thing about the Mustang... there were many things about it that I liked better than my Camaro, but at the end of the day a basic, affordable, powerful, n/a push rod V-8 was just too much to pass up
