Default A kill is a kill....

So today we were bullshitting at work, about who's beater was faster. My trans am is the fastest, so I excluded that, and used my 1999 Tahoe for our at work bench racing. I said I could beat all of them, with my 262k mile beat *** Tahoe. More joking than serious. My manager has a v6 300c and was determined to take me down. So on the way home, we actually lined up at about 60. Honked I off, and I was shocked to pull away. I got far enough ahead that I could go in his lane. Few miles ahead he tries to slingshot around me, I see him flying up, so I nail it, and stop his pull when he's only about 2-3 feet from my front bumper, then start pulling away up to 100. Not bad for a 1/4 million miles, and 5500+ lbs!

Next up! 2000 maxima, and base Lancer! Lol.

The vortech SUV's are surprisingly quick -when put in perspective.

My parents 05 Yukon XL with the 5.3 has gobs of torque for a heavy, smaller v8.

Nice kill? Haha.

Put that little Lancer in his place whenever you get a chance.

Haha thanks. I figured with than many miles, and needing a tune up bad, I'd get my *** handed to me. Vortec motor impressed me. I used to have a tbi truck and it was slow as hell. My buddy had a 5.3 silverado, really moves

I thought so too. I'm waiting for people to start giving me 1/4 mile times and math equations as to why I couldn't have won. Lol. His car is a tank tho, I feel like the lancer will do a bit better.

I expect you to walk the lancer the same. The Maxima on the other hand. What year is it? That will be a good run. I'm betting he will win.

I'm not surprised you beat the V6 300. That thing is an anchor.

LOL Bench Racing website, basically.

[edit]
If the Tahoe has the 4Hi-4Lo system, pop it into 4Hi off the line, then switch back to 2Hi.
LOL I know this because I raced a Tahoe in my old 01 Chevy Blazer... When I would pop into 4Hi off the line, I'd pull slightly. When i told him to do the same, it went from me pulling off the line, to being dead even, and then him pulling the faster we went.

Maxima is like a 2000. No autotrac, I have a floor shifter. I want to take down a guy at work that has a blacked out 5th gen. Nothing but cutouts. 6 speed, 21s, tacky appearance mods.

I have a '98 Tahoe as a daily driver. One of my coworkers has a '98 GT mustang and we trash talk each other back and forth for fun but he admits my Z will probably smoke him. Maybe I should challenge him in the Hoe lol.

I believe it completely, I had a douche in a s197 v6 Mustang try to race my truck when it was bone stock. Even with 2 extra passengers and a full tank of fuel we were dead even until I hit 98mph fuel cut.

Now that it's tuned I'm pretty sure it would pull one and I would expect the lighter mustang to be quicker than a 300 v6.

I stopped in to work to grab a check (took off this week) and laughed at him. He said I jumped on him. I was like "well what about when you tried to ricer fly by me, and I stopped you at my door and walked you again?" He was like "shut up its a v6". All I heard? Crying.

I forgot to mention. The car has chrome rain guards, all chrome trim, 18 inch steelies, transformer badges, euro lights, and a super tacky interior. Lol.
