no idea about numbers...never been on a dyno with my current setup...
when i got tuned my tuner ran a virtual dyno and estimated around 460whp and 415wtq.

but everyone dislikes the whole virtual dyno thing...lol so i guess we wont know unless i hit up a dyno...

i would think VD is pretty close, bmw guys use it, if its setup right, its optimistic, but not waaay off. id assume 420-430 ish. IIRC 450+ is pushing it for stock motor though right?

This is hilarious and pure ricer-ism..They finally shut up. Its funny how they were all still convinced that the Civic was faster even if they kept losing..I hate when plp do that. They live in their own world.

They should first learn how to drive before modding anyway

People have made over 600 on the stock motor. The key is to keep the torque low (under ~425wtq) through boost/timing curves.

Buddy has one for his DD.... We have a TON of fun in it. People now know around town it isn't just some run of the mill SUV. Pisses a LOT of people off, from diesel trucks, boosted civics, Mustang GTs, Fbodys, etc..

Lol honda ricers... I can't stand when people make every excuse when they loose. Funny part about that is I have had this happen TWICE and both were red civics LOL. Now none of the ricers will race me around here cuz they heard I have nawz

With a 103-104mph car? That by far must be the slowest ragged out turd f-body and turbo civics on the planet. Ive seen all motor civics faster than that ****.

Absolutely....

It 100% dead hooks... CAI/magnaflow catback.. I would say it is a solid mid 13 @ 105mph truck.
You really think a bone stock 98 Trans Am (this one has 14K miles on it if you are curious) with 3.23s is going to run mid 13s on the street? I'd give it low 14s, MAYBE high 13s.

If something spins, we jump out on it hard... You won't see a 106-109mph car make up 2-3 lengths out of the hole before 110mph on a 105mph car.

How many civics making any power at all hook in 1st gear? We get murdered by one of the turbo civics in town after 40mph (nice setup), the other one (low boost stock motor) we pull 3-4 lengths or so even from a roll.

Here is its kill list over the past 3 months or so:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-ra...ns-racing.html

I'm sure the brand new challenger, 14K mile ls1, my trans am, the low mileage 04 CTSV, the 04 GTO, the 98Z28, the 05 model GT with exhaust, brand new denali truck, were all completely ragged out POS that don't run up to par.

maybe thats what it is. IIRC, those motors dont last too long that high though. I recall a guy coming to a bimmer site running his mouth, he met up with a guy to do some runs, and 3rd run in, his motor let go, i forget details

yeah its key to not let the tq spike with stock internals...otherwise the rods will snap and window the block...lol
guys running bigger turbo setups can limit the tq around 450 with a flat tq curve and get up to 600whp...but no one will ever know how long that will last...

Well you just confirmed it is basically the shittiest f-body year that came out and a stock auto so it makes sense now. As for the civic, sorry i really haven't seen a proper done up turbo honda that isn't over 104 mph, its really not that hard to peddle a slow car, **** even sohc done up shitty are around a 104-105 mph car. Like i said probably could've been the shittiest turbo honda and f-body on the planet, i was right about the f-body so more than likely i was right about the civic too. I guess from a dig its plausable since theres a bazillion different variables going on. Oh well.

Come on man thats puppy kicking to the max. Thats the shittiest year and the heaviest firebird of the line, and an a4, 98, and stock. I guess its cool if the owner was being a turd and cocky lol but other than that i mean, idk thats a slow car.

I usually do top of 4th which is 140ish. May throw in a taller Final drive this winter to make that 150. Shifting into 5th is slow and alot of load on the engine also.
