Well you just confirmed it is basically the shittiest f-body year that came out and a stock auto so it makes sense now. As for the civic, sorry i really haven't seen a proper done up turbo honda that isn't over 104 mph, its really not that hard to peddle a slow car, **** even sohc done up shitty are around a 104-105 mph car. Like i said probably could've been the shittiest turbo honda and f-body on the planet, i was right about the f-body so more than likely i was right about the civic too. I guess from a dig its plausable since theres a bazillion different variables going on. Oh well.

No, i understand. Which is why i was stating how shitty it would HAVE to be to be THAT slow. Not saying its un-common, but just saying it must've been pretty darn shitty. Like 90% of honda owners's setup. Usually the fast guys don't even meet up at meets down here, they just meet up get runs in and leave, none of that parking lot stunting bullshit all these kids are into.

If 90% of LSx owners were broke *** hype kids in HS, it would be the same **** with these cars.
Edit: Doesn't matter what platform it is, if the $ is there it has potential to be fast. Obviously in the hondas case those cars are cheap as **** and apeal to broke *** HS kids. Thats all it is. Its not hard to or a difficult task to make them fast, if thats what your trying to insinuate. Perfect example, look at the LTx cars.

I don't know of too many kids in hs who had LSx cars.
My graduating class was ~650 and I knew of 2 LSx cars, one of which being owned by the best friend. 2 LT1 cars, 1 of which being owned by me.
And about one Honda for every 4 cars you walked past haha

This one kid i knew with an LTx ws6 with i forgot wtf it had was door to door with my friends 2006 2 door si with a short ram intake and catback.

Agreed, 90% of LTx cars run like crap as well. I remember when I bought mine, the previous owner (probably 40) bought it from his boss's son (20 at the time). Car leaked oil and had a Flowmaster catback and BBK shorty headers. We looked under the car and realized only 1 of the bolts in the oil pan were torqued to spec. Swapped out the oil pan gasket and no more leaks! Then did my other stuff. It was nice running LS1 Fbodies that underperformed and pissing off their owners.
You should have seen what my old LT1 did to a bolt-on RSX Type-S. Lets just say it was never pretty for him. Kid owned/owns a shop here specializing in Hondas as well. Definitely could rip some gears, so that wasn't the problem. He has a couple badass Hondas

Yeah ive been watching a bunch of AI H/C LTx car vids lol lately those ***** are badass, i went on there site to see wtf why is it so un common saw the price and was like "oh okay". Makes sense highly doubt many HS kids have 3k+ just chillen to get together a proper H/C setup.

Yeah, when I had the LT1, I was leaning towards A/I HCI 383 or swapping to the turbo LQ4 build or similar my buddy Andy has. I only rode in it at 10psi. Can only imagine what she will do with an upgraded turbo this Spring. After a ride in that thing, sometimes I miss having the F-body and wish I would have done that turbo build. Then the practical side of me tries to say "priorities", but still nearly fails to overcome the want for speed/fun.
On a side note, ever notice how much **** people talk in this video. Hell, when I had a fun car, I would run anything. I didn't care if I got freight trained, it was still fun to me. The only time I would ever talk **** to anyone was if they provoked me with the same behavior first. Chat, have some friendly runs, show respect and chat afterwards, part ways.
I just kind of want something I can jump in and drive and have reliable
