Notches ls1 just went 11.96 @ 116.xx. Still don't have headers, tune, fast, ewp. It is about 200lb lighter than stock. Just what's listed and he will pick up 3-4mph once full bolt-on. It would take a Cobra like Bite's on a shot to run with him from a roll....rolls are not their strong point.

4.6's and nitrous are strong runners for those that don't believe. Here is another dude that ran 10's with a stock motor and nitrous...and not a tin can...

Sorry the vid link in that thread is broken. He did it in 2005 so I'm sure the vid has been removed.

I leave rolls for fat chicks and ricers. You can have your rolls.

In stock form I agree. I'm on v. 3.0 with mine. But now its build to the hilt. But from a gear perspective its a bad ****

3.37
1.99
1.34
1.00

Hard to beat that with steep gearing on a dig.

Ok, back to the garage. End play is checked, rings on the pistons, now time to put the slugs into their resting place and the shortblock is just about done.

The t45 did'nt make it lose steam, the engine ran out of snot to pull it.

Hey man I only like rolls for dinner but a dig is not what this race was. You know your realying on gear and traction to get that car to move.

That's what kept the mustang in the game 1/4 mile. Strong rearend, gear and traction with a little tourqe motor was all they need.

As I was watching the video, I thought "I know where this is being filmed".

That's one ridiculously awesome location for racing, this spring was nuts...

That's the only thing that helped them at all. The motor is a gutless wonder that uses gear to make tq because it has none.

But this was not a 1/4 race that op had. I could understand it being close if it was. From the roll the vette should ate him up. Op did what he had to do though.

Adam, what do you think I'll trap if I ran a 100 shot?
Somewhere in the 119-low 120s, according to your trap speed in your sig. But your cars light, OP didn't state anything about it being light so im going off it being full weight. Like hio said it would have to be really light.

4.10 gears
approx 3400 with me in it
Yes solid axle
Spraying off the line leaving at 5K
G-Force T-5

and 150 shot, its like a 4xxwhp car that is lightened, with alot of gear. Seems about right.

it weighs about 3650 with me in it. the t45s are junk i ripped out a few. it has a tko600 now. definitely right about the torque, it has none on motor. and i had that look cause i was pulling a car i shouldve never pulled... couldnt believe it. that tranny shifts like ****. heard a lot of people have had problems with those. it doesnt wanna go in third on motor so i have to make it go in on spray
