That's great, also can't wait to hear the stories at when you see him at work. Nice car, that thing works good. What does it run off the bottle?

LOL Awesome! I find most Suburu owners all think their cars are non-beatable when comparing to U.S. muscle.

Had a few AWD guys around here give me that same kind of ****. Always fun to put them in their place.

My car is in no way set up for drag racing, it gets so little weight transfer you can't even see it on video....but a couple feet roll out on decent tires is still enough to launch with them on the street and put buses on em. The last one was an Evo X, I had over 1.5 cars on him before we made it through the intersection.

That was great typical awd owner thinking his jump will be so great you can't run him down. Just tell him even if you polish a turd it's still a turd.

Those new wrx's are heavy and slow. They need a ton of mods to keep up with a nitrous'd ls1 car. That particular car could be beat easily by a stock ls1 with decent tires.

I test drove a '12 WRX...it wasn't even remotely quick.

The brochure makes it seem like you need a pilot's license.

I do believe that I would call in sick the next day or so.

Lol. Had a guy call me and everyone else out that has a decently fast car in the area. He even called out an R1. I finally called him out on it and he acts like I don't have enough money to race him when I call him out in front of everybody. Then he comes back when i'm alone and whispers something about how he'll race me but for fun because his clutch is slipping and his tires won't hook. Dumbass won't race.

Some people just have no concept at all. People say: how fast is your car? I tell them it runs mid elevens on the motor. Then they say something like: My buddy used to have a 1970 GTO when we were in school. Now that was a fast car................

I just smile and nod my head waiting for the conversation to be over.

Its not even the STI. ROFL Even if it WAS the STI... it still wouldn't have stood a chance in this situation.

Agreed. I've been in one and have been ridiculously unimpressed.

How old is this kid? Has to be his first turbo and/or awd car to be that cocky. If an F-Body (or any car for that matter) showed up at work with big and littles, I wouldn't take it lightly.

I got into a discussion (borderline argument) with a guy at work that had a drag Nova that ran low 6's in the 1/8th. He called my little "import POS" slow so I called him out to run a 1/4 mile against my Evo heads up and he danced around making every excuse possible.

At least you guys took it to the track and settled it rather than him talking **** then never racing.
