I'm really surprised by the guy, even after you show up drag ready he still mouths off....what a tool. He should have at least told you to lay off the spray or something.

Great kill! It's the stories that go along with kills like this that make it worth telling. Also, props on keeping it classy the next day at work. Maybe he will learn from your example.
Stuff like this is why I don't like talking to people who aren't into cars.
Some people just have no concept at all. People say: how fast is your car? I tell them it runs mid elevens on the motor. Then they say something like: My buddy used to have a 1970 GTO when we were in school. Now that was a fast car................

Fortunately, I work with a buddy that works on his own stuff and knows a lot about cars. He knows way more about cars than I ever will. I've had people there try to tell me some of the craziest stuff, though.

I've only seen ONE Subaru ever that impressed me. The owner is very cool but he told me it took alot of money into it to get it to where it is and they're not that easy to make this fast.
I wanna say it ran 11s @ 128.

Had a guy in a older v6 charger tell me yesterday that when he gets a blower he will destroy every car on the street lol,made me think of this thread,i gave him my number and said when ya get the blower give me a call,i asked to do a baseline before and he wasnt game for that,again op very good story

The funny thing is... everyone compares how fast their car is to a Mustang GT. They're usually talking about the old 4.6 L mustangs that were slow as ****.
Yeah man, you should have seen it... I walked a "Mustang" in my blah, blah, blah car.
I will say though... the new 5.0s are nothing to take lightly. They're proving that over and over now.

A little bit of ricer bashin' going on. Hey at least he had a nice, decently quick newer car, right. He wasn't very smart to say it could take your car. How would you have felt if the dude had a bone stock 92 civic with one of those giant fart cans on it and some sort of oriental writing all over it? Oh and a ginormous wing on it. I hate those, but I would take that Sube or an Evo any day. He just needs to race you off-road.
