'13 5.0 Mustang vs Cam/Exhaust LS2 GTO

Good runs, not surprised at all by the outcome: those 5.0's are no joke once the modding starts. No joke stock, either, for what they are.
As far as the 114 trap goes, that's all dependent upon what track and what conditions when it was run. Those mods up here would net exactly that mph. Because we have a real, properly calibrated, NHRA track. Not some track that is trying to win attendees by offering gamed timing lights and timers.

Ohio, you still think you live in TX or what?
Lmao, I edited the video and was present there last night, I know what the Civic guy said because I asked him if he had a jump or what. Charlie told me he made 408/418 on his retune yesterday and 505 on cold bottle.
Also, I love how I said the MUSTANG trapped 114 at the track but that somehow got contrived into the GTO running that speed.... Of course by a GTO owner lol.
He ran at the crappiest track around, TAD for Ohioborn's knowledge, although he should've known that already!!!

Never understood why someone would cam a car and then not shift any higher than the factory redline. Looked like the GTO was shifting right at redline which if anything, will make the car slower.
And you guys must have pretty shitty DA there, or both of those cars just don't perform. My brother's GTO went 114 mph with an intake and longtubes. Would like to see another run with the GTO shifting higher.

Not excuses. Just facts. Stock intake manifold drops power at 6900-7000 rpms. So going to 7500 is losing power and tq. With boss only going to 7500 is pointless. Should go to 7800-7900 less have a blower. But with boss intake need least 3.73 gears or you wasted money on the boss intake.

Not at all. A ls2 intake is known to not be very good, not as good as a ls6. I went from a ported ls6 to a ported fast 90 and picked up 13 @ peak and a little more in the meat of the curve. I have seen guys post up 30rwhp gains on a bolt-on ls2 goin from the ls2 to a fast.

Just saw a guy on the gto forums gain 15whp from an unported ls2 to a 102 on a cammed/bolt on ls2 m6 car. Same dyno, same tuner. I have seen several people gain less than 10 with it. That's why I most likely wont be buying one.
