Well if you supposedly watched the video you'd notice there was a camera in both cars plus a chase car.

Ohioborn is right, red 5.0 usually has his wife with him, but in this video he had our resident ginger camera man.

Ls2 manifolds are junk...With a fast 92 i picked up 31rwhp and 30rwtrq just by swaping intakes with a 231/236 cam..

Now those were some close runs. The GTO looks like it has a peaky cam, didn't really seem to pull until he tached it out pretty good. Would love to see a smaller cam with a broader curve for comparison.

Dude you should be able to pull it off my buddy has a 06 GTO with cam and intake, and I can take him with my ride. Your ride is every bit as stout as mine, and maybe then some

Got that auto working in your favor too. Every time they shift, you gain ground.

What heads are you using? You running N20 timing or tuned for 93?

I'm on TSP cnc 5.3 2.0/1.6 valves and tune on 93 octane. I have an hsw nitrous interface but don't know how to hook it up.
I posted a pic to see HP/tq curves in dyno section.

Sorry to bring this tread back... But couple things ...

Bone stock 5.0 vs my intake/catback gto- dead even till 100..

My buddy's 2011 5.0 went 12.7 @ 113 w/ 2.2 60ft (street tires) - intake, bama tune, axel back, 3.31 gears.

Put a boss intake on, car was slow as ****... Back to the stock intake a day later.

He pulled my buddies 01 Ws6- Full exhaust/cam.. 390/370.. Had about a car between the bumpers 40-100..

&& to the guy who said a Fast 102 isn't worth while on ls2... I'm sorry but your just simply wrong .
