Nice runs, being beside that z06 is saying something.

We need to run when I get home in just over a week! You trap higher so I'm thinking you'll edge me out. I'm not running from 50 mph though lol, 30 or below at least.

Stock suspension (no front sway)




And yeah, actually it is the fastest l99 car that is on stock heads currently per the camaro5 list. There may be another list on another forum Im not aware of, but here is the fast list off C5. The only cam only car faster than me was an Ls3 in great weather and we run very close.




What the list doesnt show is that my 11.39 was at 1400 da which isnt all that great.

Cause I like popcorn..lol...

Weight here is the question...if you want to pull the seats out of of the interior and swaybar off the front well I guess it depends on how tacky some people want to get..I run with FULL interior and suspension on the car.

To each their own. I dont think weight reduction is tacky. Your car also weighs a lot less than mine to begin with and I have a few more creature comforts. You run your car with a 408. I run with a cammed 6.2 . I also drive mine to the track to run, not trailer it.

Regardless of how I get to the track I go down it with full interior, not removing the pasenger or rear seats..thats about 150lbs, maybe more? I just thought that was for the honda guys, sorry.

Just wondering here..you left that one out of your mod list..

90 pounds.

So even though I have less motor AND my car weighs more than yours AND I DRIVE to and from the track, me pulling 2 seats is a big deal....lmao.
Your ls motor is lighter than the factory iron block, does that count for weight reduction?
Your t56 is lighter than an auto, does that count as weight reduction?

Weight of an Engine & Trans is what it is...people go with aluminum for that purpose.

Pulling interior and not listing it when you have a boner about making sure you are correct defend my simple popcorn smilie is all you I guess. I have no problem noticing that tho...attention to detail.

I'm not shitting on this by far..**** got down the track. I just wonder if considered for a "record" the interior being pulled or not.

Now seeing as you crammed every last HP with your E85 Tune and I'm just on simple **** 93 around here then I guess I have room to improve. Oh yea and removing rear seats..sway bar..etc..

And the Truck & Trailer is a must when you are two hours from home..any of us here with common sense knows that. Keep raggin on me that I dont...you'll eat that foot when you blow it up, if you "drive it there"..

And dont compare my car to your car..you took a factory car with a factory engine and built on that..congrats, must've been hard to do. With all them parts already there n ****....geeeze really hard to upgrade and modify...
I like to tinker and experiment. Dont worry I have some tricks up my sleeve still...just waiting for my 408 to pop and then comes time for the new Engine..

I ran the 11.3 on 91 from valero right down from my work. I did dyno today with e85 and put down 478.3, it put down 468 the day before I ran at memphis on 91 octane. I bumped up the pwm tables iin the fuel pump folder in the tune to allow 100% pump duty cyle for the e85. Ill try it in the spring.

Car is about to get 3.45's and 4000 converter.

As for the record on c5, it just has to be stock internal minus the cam.

It's funny how you take offense and automatically feel threatened by the "bold statement." It's not a bold statement, his set-up is just dialed in!! Did you watch him run neck and neck with a cam C5Z which makes more power and weighs significantly less than a 5.0 with bolt-ons(even the coveted boss).

I don't hate the 5.0, the hype gets annoying
Now the 13' GT500...that beast deserves more hype

It was a breeze to do. You dont have to like it, or be impressed Merv, I dont care. You came in here stirring **** up like you always do. I tried to run you, you never wanted to.

Look you have a 408, vic jr, heads, etc. In a car that weighs 3500 lbs probably. You ran 12.1 with your current setup. Are you impressed that you have a built car that runs what I did with bolt ons?

I tinker with **** all the time too, its just nice to have a car I can get in, drive cross country with the kids in there, hear myself over the exhaust, get 23 mpg on the highway and run bottom 11's.

My next track pass will be with seats in just for you Merv. When this thing runs 10.9s cam only, with full interior what will there be for you to criticize?

You wanted to run but you went about it like a bitch so I declined to save future problems for the both of us. I honestly didnt think you were that immature, doesn't suprise me now tho.

I was honestly interested in the record part. You do amaze me tho..first person I met that one smilie will start your vagina bleeding.

Btw I went 11.52 on street suspension, all of it on the car, 3650lb race weight, full interior.


Go to your gyno and get that ***** checked, seems to be irregular at the moment.
