I wish I had my old Hoosier DRs so I wouldn't have to worry about traction. Now THAT would have been funny!

Lmao at him saying you were strugging. I know better without seeing that vid.

Here was mine, both cars started in 3rd around 60-100 mph..
09 S197, 4.10S, Intake/Tune/UDPs Vs 03 Mach, 4.10s ORX, Tune

Good runs, like how yours sounded. 3v owner wants ANOTHER rematch, only this time he wants his race.

He wants a 60mph roll.

OMG, he just keeps making it worse for himself. The further you guys increase the start MPH, the uglier its going to get for him, lol. What is makeing him think he is so much stronger up top?

Thanks, that was an ORX with weld-in flowmasters believe it or not. Tried a straight thru muffler with the ORX....that was a terrible idea!!

^ Not really, stopsign has 4.56 gears so the lower the better for him, at least thats how I feel with 4.10's. At 60mph he will be in 3rd, probably at a good rpm but then in just a matter of seconds he will be topped out lol.

I stop running after the top of 4th unless it is super close.

Those gears won't hurt his top end. In my Machs, 4.10s helped my top end tremendously. 5th gear was also very usable with the steeper gear, whereas with the 3.55s 5th was merely a slow pulling OD gear. Pulled as hard as 4th once I swapped gears. I never understood where the myth about gears hurting top end came from. Mechanical advantage still remains regardless of speed.

Don't forget he can rev to 6800 RPM as well.
