I don't get it. So a 106 trap camaro beat a 104 trap genesis. Seems about right, is there an argument here I'm not seeing?
oh and juice what is your definition of beating up on an ls1 car? To me beating up means it pulls them by quite a bit with ease.

1 car = his rear bumper at your front bumper and in that pic he has more than that on you. And the video ended before you let out

No I backed the camera down when I let off the gas.
There might be 2-3 ft between bumpers.
Read the OP.

I just wana make sure i understand.

Countless times u have corrected anyone who incorrectly compared the older model to the "much faster and improved" 2013 Gen.

Yet here u think "your friends" 2010 was capable of times u ran in tje 2013..

Make up your fkn mind dude.

Even with the huge disadvantage the Genesis was still within a quarter second of the GMS1 Cobalt.

Really? Threads for almost 3 years ago Hugger?

This was before we learned that the Delphi PCM in the Genesis is much like the PCM in the Cobalt where it adjust the timing curve (Cobalts adjust boost) to keep tq under a certain level. It's not as vicious of a correction like the Cobalt's is but it is there none the less.

The 2010 would have picked up some time, how much we don't know for sure.

So a new Genesis gets pulled up top by a bolt-on LT1. Are we supposed to be impressed with the Genesis now or something? If he hung with that LT1 from a dig, THEN that would be something to talk about, but with the LT1s super-duper top end...yea. Gimme a fukn break.

My A4 LS1 ran 12.5 at 110 with just a lid, tune, and cat-back.

So how do you figure that LT1 is regularly pulling LS1s when it only traps 106? Once I had the mods that LT1 had, I was at 12.22 at 114.

So let's recap.

Genesis beats a4 LS1 from ~50 roll by about a car. This is BS cuz no videos
Same thing with a Mach-1, BS cuz no videos.

Regal stays even on a short burst from 60-100 with h/c LS1 while running 10psi. BS no videos

Video posted of Genesis running with a 12 second a4 Camaro. Not impressed, stock LS1's run 12.6.

Love it!

What have u learned since then?
At this point 3 years ago u belived the Gen was vry capable but now it pales in comparison.

Then u believed it could run similiar times as a 2013. Now if someone says 2010 u jump down their throat.

Either way the '10 is significantly slower than the '13.

You know damn well why everyone is jumping down your throat. If not, I feel for you. You have done nothing but deliberately try to stir up ****. You've been trying to prove that a Genesis has the top end/roll capability of an LS1 for days now. It doesn't so get over it. A Mach 1 or an LS1 will grudge *** that 3.8 up top. Its a fact, we all know it, you can't accept it, end of story.

And I will put buses on your regal from a dig or roll :p

I could see the Genesis beating the MACH but not the LS1...MACH 1's, like 5th Gen's (as stated by 2SSARME) are slow.

I don't think a stock LS1 with 2.73 gears or even 3.23s is going to pull in 3rd like this LT1 does with 3.42s.
The amount of tq delivered to the ground through 3rd is what turns this race in favor of the LT1.

In the race with the LS1, it was when the LS1 shifted into 3rd that the Genesis started to put ground on it.

That LT1 isn't pulling much harder/if any than a 2V with the same mods. But we all know that a bolt on 2V will decimate a stock LS1 up top.
