I just scrapped a auto 1g awd laser lol. Filled the interior with snow with the skid steer before it got pushed back to the trees. Just figured I'd break your heart once today. Lol

If you're a stock LS1 F-body, then you will win, but not by much. I'd say it's a predictable yet close race. I see your best time is a 13.35, it would take a pretty good driver to get that time with my car on street tires.

Well, yeah, but unless it's pointed backwards, it sort of assumes you're going to lose.

This. I point the camera backward for the intimidation factor

If your car is slow, like mine, then you can't assume victory

I haven't lost many races though, it's actually hard to find fast cars around here. And my car isn't fast by any means; it's not like it would take much to defeat me.

LOL I've done this before. I raced a friend in his VW Passat 2.8 from a 30 roll. I was in 4th gear and he couldn't pull me. Then we did a quick 45 roll and I dropped down to 2nd... ROFLMAO

[edit]
You should, however, post up a race of you in 1st from an actual attempt, to show the real difference between the two. People on youtube would find that video and be like 'omg, look how close we are to the vettes off the line, omg omg lolz we r winnarz'

Hahaha that's awesome, racing slower cars can be funny sometimes. My brother's car is surprisingly fast though, for what it is of course. He destroyed an Eclipse that was the same thing but had headers and exhaust.

LOL we did a few dig launches, he stays with me for about half a second, but that's enough for Youtubers to get excited

We're going on a massive drive this weekend (60 cars) so we should be getting some vids up soon

dude for that race id want you to have slicks or w.e you could get up there.

there is nothing more fun than running side by side an entire race.

thats why i loved racing my buddy who had a stock 6-spd camaro.

we were alway literally nose to nose till the end of the track

Yup those are by far the best races, the ones where you have to realllllly pay attention to each shift. I've never been to the track and don't have much experience launching so you'd probably kill me from a dig until I learn how to do that... but it would probably be close from a roll, especially if you're an auto.

A guy on Corvetteforum actually ran a 12.99 in a bone-stock C4 with only slicks, I think that may be the record though.

ive been to a drag strip twice, and had bad tires both times.

minimum wage does not equal equipment for best track times

too bad you live way out in Mass. ill have to get a good programming jobs before i start making those kinds of trips

and honestly its all about the fun. i wouldnt expect to beat any vette....yet.

I hear ya, I'm in college and broke. Hopefully engineering pays off for me, I just want to start modding!

Nice, good luck with school! I have 2-3 semesters left as well depending on what I end up doing for 100% sure.

Minimum wage still sucks though :/
