A few things:
Both cars run hard. It was closer than you think bc he wasnt going 10mph faster than you up top. He had a steady pull though.
LS7's are nasty... period. Great power band. Throw a cam in it and a nice auto and its gonna be a fast *** car. Its hard to beat an auto with an equal power 6spd.
There are a couple of c6 guys on corvette forum that have swapped LS7's into there auto cars. A few of them are in the low 10's and 132-134mph range with just bolt-ons and a stall....
And hell we have a guy on ls1tech that has the record for fastest bolt-on c6z at 9.97@137 with the 6 speed. https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-ra...97-137mph.html
