You guys caused the mod bug to hit me again, lol. Worked out a deal on a dry kit. Going to start with a 75 and see how it acts, might work my way up to 100 if it will stay planted. I'd love another stab at the 427 afterwards. Maybe I can stay within 2 cars of him!

LOL...nice!
Never enough power, right?

That will be intersting with you on a 100 shot against the 427...
Let me know when you're ready for the next meet.

BTW...we are all meeting up at Grill 57 on 401 in Garner on New Years day. Every year there is a big hangout there. If you're not to polluted, stop by.

I'll be in town and off that day so I'll be sure and drop by. I actually live within a mile or two of Grill 57, so. I'll let you know once I get it installed and tuned. Don't know if it'll be enough to handle that nasty 427, but it'll make for a much better run regardless.

Couple of us locals went a few years ago. We got there late, so we didn't get long to see all the cars. We did manage to get a run from a roll with Instigator.

BTW...how safe are those dry shots? I know a tune comes with the kit and must compensate for fuel but was never to sure of them..

Or so some seem to think....I thought you were one of those strangely enough.
That wasn't me. But I will say that track times don't tell the whole story when it comes to roll racing. But the camaro in this vid has track times that wouldn't be able to come anywhere near that vette

Don't mind him. He only says that because his car doesn't ET anywhere close to where it should. If his car ran right at the track he would be on a stepping stool talking about how he can tell how a street race will go down simply by knowing the track times of the cars.

Actually pretty safe. I'm going to get a custom tune done for it and have them look over it to make sure I installed everything correctly, etc. I need to get a controller too so it doesn't spray in 1st gear. There's no way the tires will hold more TQ in 1st.

My Procharged car ran damn hard. But I don't think I'd ever go centri again.

I don't think it much matters what kind of FI goes on that Vette.....we're all going to see tail lights regardless, lol.

If Packy can talk me into it, I might go. Don't get your hopes up for a street race with my Cobra, I don't street race anymore (haven't in years since I had to grow up and get a grown up job).

Besides, I quit running the Cobra since I got my Fox Body back together.
