Maybe not THAT far, but their Type-S to me falls in the same category a Civic Si would.
I see a Type-S or Si, I see 14 seconds at best, 15 seconds on average.

Lots of bad drivers out there... any RSX-S or modern Civic Si should be solidly in the 14s, and the TL should be as well. Lots of variables though. But if you compare the TL to something it's actually designed to compete with (like a 3.6 CTS), it looks quite a bit better.

They are easily high 13's, mid with a good driver, one guy on CF even ran a 12.99 with just slicks! Conditions must have been perfect for that one though. Don't believe the Car and Driver 14.1 quarter mile time, that test happened one a 100 degree day

Sonatas....thats funny. I just leased my wife a 2013 2.0T Limited and she loves it. It is quicker that you would think above 50mph. Didnt expect to see a kill story withone though Sweet vid

I've had more fun racing people in 14 second DDs then I've ever had in fast cars. When I drive my Regal around, not only will no one race me, but the guys who are down are driving 14 second rides! Most of them being Mustangs.

You can hate on me for bringing a mid-low 14 second sonata to the track but I'm betting the vast majority of you guys have rocked something slower down the drag strip...

and you went 11.3 @121? i know guys that run 4k stall and 416 strokers in their 5th gens that are barely hitting 11.2 @121. at Atco no less lol

My first car (1984 Z28) ran 16.9 @ 79 mph.
My second car (1987 GTA) ran 15.2 @ 90 mph.
My third car (1994 Trans Am) ran 14.1 @ 97 mph.
I also took my 1999 Grand Prix GT to the track.

Had a good time with all of them.
