Local dudes, lol.

I have also had a nitrous backfire years ago, ironically, same road(diff location)... it also happened on some doucher roll....dude kept going faster, and faster,...by the time I went WOT, I was too high rpm in that gear, the moment the car went WOT,...it popped my FAST manifold, and cracked/warped the hood.

It was my fault,..thats why I had a new FAST 90 on the very next day. Still rocking the same hood on my vette now.

**** happens.

Ok so advice from u nitrous guys.. I'm gonna be running a 100 shot thru my Maggied forged ls6. Standalone with race gas and a NOS 90mm plate system with a NOS window switch. What would be the max rpm to WOT with out backfire. Just so it's in te back of my mind when ****** around

I would have said "You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake manifold!"... but ummm... kinda blew the welds off and into everything. LMAO

Bottle heater? :o

With an M6 and your mods I wouldn't really worry about anything going wrong under a 150 shot. Make sure your tuner knows nitrous and you'd be fine. I probably wouldn't spray under 3-4k rpm due to traction issues but that's just me.

What do you spin your motor to?
Do you have enough resources (another car to use) if you blow your motor?

I have enough resources to purchase another car if I had to. But it just give me a reason to buy a new shortblock!

in all honesty, im going nitrous to keep my weight down. This car is fat enough without the additional 200lbs in the nose.

Not a huge fan of the TVS. I'd go with the ECS kit if I go that route

TVS is fun street.
Procharger is the only other I would get and its not as streetable.

ECS has some pretty damn impressive ****. I saw a m6 with only an ECS and meth hit like 660rwhp. no bolt ons, no cam nothing. I was about to go buy it but thought 1 thing is power 1 thing is power band.
