Yes the GT500 walked out up top by just a bit. It was close the whole way though.

I have the cobalt and yes, i should have not shown up on street tires lmao. I've run the GTR previously on different tire and hooked and went and it was a good race (its in my vids with a superchaged vette), this time however i got my lunch handed to me. I even turned it down due to traction issues and some missing i was having up top. Can't win em all though and i still had fun.

I sold my spare wheels looking for a lighter dedicated wheel to mount my new tire on but i have the gayest bolt pattern (5x110) and some brembos to fit over, so the choices are few and far between.

I've seen your vids, and your car moves out... This cooler weather doesnt help. Im sure you'll be insanely quick off the line with some good rubber.

nice vid. that cobalt sounds like a handful! its good to see some different cars besides the typical vette, mustang or fbody. i went to a local "ford" meet recently and it was just mustang, mustang, mustang, and more mustangs. i don't even see the old ones much anymore.

Thirdhonk, is all about variety... Vehicle/Make specific is kinda lame IMO.

^^ Truth. Don't get me wrong, I love LS1, LS1Tech and F bodies just as much as the next guy but we have a pretty good variety out here ranging from stock turd DD's to 1200+ hp street cars.

By the way, two things surprise me in this thread.

1. No Ju1ce appearance telling me my car is slow.
2. No one said a thing about the Regal running a Vette!

Just for reference, HE wanted to race the Regal, Race Berk never denies a race!! lmao

That's the beauty of 3H. We welcome all walks of life. And enjoy each other for it. Kfc and myself once stayed up till 5 am helping lastofthebreed get his heads on. Along with a few other 3H members. Great group of individuals involved and a lot of good memories.

Not a 5.0, it's an early 2v.

5x100 and 5x114 bolt patterns on most of their wheels anywhere close to what i need. Pretty much the same thing i find everywhere.

I might fill out their form just to see what they say. Maybe they can do a custom drilled wheel.

Was the Regal detonating at 2:30?

That sounds pretty bad.

First race I saw with the Thunderbird had me laughing. All I could think about was somebody borrowing their Grandmothers car and taking it out racing with their buddies!

Never again are we doing heads without renting a lift! ... and get it right. It was 530 am.
