I've driven plenty of those thunderbirds when they were new: they came with the mustangs 5.0 in them, or a supercharged V6. Obviously I wasn't referring to a new 5.0 but the 80's era 5.0
EDIT: they came with the a carbed version of the mustang 5.0 engine now that I think of it. Might have been a TBI? Worked at a Ford dealership from '88-'89 and always wanted to do a EFI swap with heads/cam/stall on one of those.

But no one calls the 5.0 a 2v, people call that a 5.0.

Plus if my car was detonating THAT bad at 5% throttle I would've blown the engine a long time ago. Don't worry, you and Ju1ce can hate on my car as much as you want, it runs fine, I just probably have a crap M90.

Yeah it was a 2V aka SOHC "nPI" 4.6L V-8 in a '95 T'Bird. Who was that guy?? hahaha
I love the Regal street-tune improvements, and that SS sounded cool getting on it with the 3V S/C. There is still some debate as to whether that red one was a SuperSnake or just a strong GT-500.
