1.3ish for every 1000' is closer imo. So 7000+ would be damn near a full second.
It's usually the people that are actually at sea level that try to say it is less of a difference because they don't want to let people at higher elevation think they can come close to their times.

Nice kills and honorable death! Yea i hate the elevation difference. Here in el paso cammed cars with drag radials run high 12's or low 13's on average. Stock f bodies run mid to low 14's. It seems bad but the new 5.0s seem to be running low 14's and sometimes high 13's on average (stock).

I agree but the tranny has had it's issues so I baby in the gears. When shifting to third it goes in between gears, so no power. People watching this see my reverse lights go on too. I don't like to shift like I used to. Tranny needs building first
