heads cam e85 set up should wake it up

 

I'm pretty sure they scrapped the dual clutch trans with the C7. They wanted to do it but couldn't find one to hold the torque capacity, its in Road and track or Car and Driver or something like that. 7spd manual and a conventional auto is all its getting for now

Well this race wouldn't count to HIHOgayness. The GTR has an unfair advantage of being on E85 so it is a race car. NOt a street car, and can only do one thing.

 

He did a 40 roll from 1st gear that's why he got smoked. Even in a c6zo6 2nd gear would make more sense, but he's in a zr1 with torque out the ***. Outcome would have been damn near the same as the first race if he took 2nd gear instead. O and look at the gtr speedo in the first race.... The zr1 baaaarreeeely gets the most baby jump ever.

 

It's a ******* Gtr why are they removing the seats to race a bolted zr1. Ricecar lol

damn good driving by zr1 owner and the gtr still pulled..good runs..gtr needs to stay where its at till zr1 gets on e85 and loses some weight

 

LMAO at a Vette needing to lose weight to race a 3800lb GTR.

Both are badass but those GTR's are ******* amazing!!!

 

the gtr has awd and an automatic that you cant powershift faster than..so yea even though its 4-500 lbs lighter to begin with, that would def help make it closer..Im not saying its fair but hey if you're gonna take weight out of the gtr take it out of the vette

The zr-1 wasn't powershifting or driver mod just does it that fast?

 

The ZR1 got the jump in the first race and was getting pulled. He wouldn't have got ahead even if the ZR1 was in 2nd.

 

Watch the tach on the gtr I wouldn't call that a "jump." Starting in 1st from 40 put the zr1 at a HUGE disadvantage.

 

With the GT-R's super fast trans the ZR1 wouldn't have been able to pull in 2nd. The ZR1 had 3 cars pulled on him and GT-R's make a ton of torque on E85. And the ZR1 was still getting pulled on in the first run meaning the GT-R was the faster car that time.

 

where did I ever say the ZR1 would have won? Keep on riding that Gtr

 

I wonder what E85 will do for that ZR1. If the GTR didn't come prepared on lighter wheels, no passanger seat, bucket etc.. He might've been introuble.

 

He'll pick up about 50rwhp switching to e85.

 

Damn thats nasty. I don't think ive seen an E85 ZR1 so far.
