Oh I don't think the GT-R would win if the ZR1 goes on E85. That's assuming the GT-R doesn't do anything further. Oh and those wheels aren't much lighter than the OEM whees, maybe 1 lb per wheel.

Knowing TRC he's got something up his sleeve.

Keep riding the ZR1.

Damn near the same as in.... the Zr1 would have jumped out in front and the gtr would have started creeping again up top.

If those are rota grids (which i think they are) the 18s weigh 20lbs thats about 5lbs off each rims of rotational mass. If they are smaller than 18s (which i think they are) they would be even lighter, which is a big deal actually.

Stock GT-R brakes can't clear anything smaller than 18's, kind of how stock ZR1 brakes can't either. Also I don't think anyone in the GT-R community uses rotas as they don't have the best reputation of reliability, especially for heavy cars. TRC's wheels are Volk Ray's TE37's.

No way of telling except for the centercap, could be TE's without the stickers on em now that i rewatch the video, but yeah those should be even lighter, since they are a 1 piece forged wheel and not a casted one piece wheel like the rotas.

Edit: Yeah they range from 17-18lbs depending on the width, offset, etc...

It is a pretty much stock zr1 let's go $ to $ with them. when are people going to under stand u cant out run cube inch the only way is cube $. It's just like the 5.0 nut swingers do u really think that if a 2012 ss comaro weighed the same as the 5.0 and a straight axle it would not even be a race. It's called inches
