For a 30 grand car that trans is unacceptable and on a Boss even more so. T5 on a 13 grand car could survive if not beaten on
a simple rebuild kit will do a lot. Im just shocked not a single company has one out yet

I have to agree with Mike, I was surprised that the Boss's didn't come with the same trans as the GT 500.

Wish I had some action out this way. I'm trying to get my buddy in his Whipple Coyote to run me but he won't. I think he's scared.

the way you talk about the cars trouble with having any kind of traction, i'm starting to think maybe the 5th gen Camaro chassis really is far superior than the current mustang one. you have upgraded suspension and it sounds like the car is still not very fun to drive.

it will hook in the summer on a tire... but in cold temps with 19 inch street tires, 3350lbs, 440+whp, steep trans gears, and 3.73s... nothing about it says traction. My suspension is also setup very aggressively... its meant for a tire... not street tires.

I'd much rather the mt-82 in a n/a modular 5liter than a tr6060.

ive driven a 500rwhp fox body on street tires (a handful of times) and its never really felt that out of control or dangerous. Do you think maybe your suspension might be set up too agressively?

The car isnt "out of control". It just has very excessive tire spin. And yes like i said in my last post, the suspension is setup aggressive and is meant for there to be a tire on the car. Not to mention the suspension setup technically isnt finished. Not gonna bother finishing it until all the weight is out of the car and i have an accurate weight distribution. Its a work in progress...one im not rushing.

agreed. The only way these new 5.0s would work with the 6060 is if it came with the aftermarket gearing which is all very close gaps... and you ran 4.88s in the back.
