Sorry but no, if it was a gt40 head only car maybe, there have been many gt40 headed foxs that have dynoed 260+, with PORTED gt40s and a tfs1 it prolly makes 280+ and is good for mid to low 12s depending on the setup. If the car runs good, and doesnt weigh much youll be chasing.
so a stock 5.0 with just a gt40 head makes 250whp? Im well aware what can be done with an old sbf. Im also well aware of how easy it is to mix match parts and make **** for power on an old small block. If i told you my friend has an NA 306 that made 458 whp with hydro roller cam on 93 octane. Would you believe me?

I know some die hard fox guys that would frown at that statement. Sounds like an old build to me, nothing more nothing less. Despite the ignorance, that use to be a pretty decent combo back in its day and would take a fox into the mid 12s quite easily. That was impressive back then. Would make some LT1 owners mad too.

Lol, there you go pick my posts apart to make yourself look better, when you know what i meant by heads only on this car. Meaning no cam, but everything else. I obviously (if you knew 5.0s like you claim to) was not referring to a stock 5.0 with just gt40 heads making 250rwhp.

Buddy of mine has some gt40 heads and a choppy *** cam. car sounds sick, show car, everything is nice, custom etc.
...made 275 rwhp. lol. said he'd drag the transam....I dont think my car made that low of hp on the showroom floor.

My thoughts exactly. In my experience guys who post every single little mod including things that really don't effect the cars performance, like certain motor oil or certain spark plugs, usually do that for "hopeful horsepower". Go to a non performance vehicle forum and youlll see that all day long.

I see you taking a loss,but thats imo,some of those cars can run pretty solid others run horrible trying to predict what your going to get with a mustang is tough todo,run them and find out,you lose, well you lose,i just hate these threads,i know its just bench racing,but imo these are ***** threads scared of getting pulled and will only run if they know for sure if they are going win,sorry man its just thheway i look at it,mot attacking your thread personally

We raced last night when I got off, 3 races 2 from a dig one at 40mph took him all three times, by several car lengths... the roll surprised me he got the jump and I pulled him down bad... when I got home, he txtd me to pick him up, he shattered his distributor and cam on his way home.
