Awesome Videos, Hate to hi-jack but i need some quick advice, Gopro's, just got one, do you guys with them run standard or skeleton backs? And how do you know if you got the suction cup mounted right, so as not to come off at 100+ (not that i would be going the speeds of these two beasts). Man i want to goto TX2K14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never mind .. wont happen tonight, I asked here because i knew someone would have had experience with them, heck the vette had 3 on it $$

The only reason this is true on the street is because of AWD and the gear box.

No car over 1000hp RWD will be able to hand even remotely with a similar hp lambo on the street. Go to a prepped surface and you make have a different story.

Oh well, good kill. I've always loved that vette. If the vette would be a practical street car down here I would've totally thought about snagging it when it was for sale.... but I already suffer with 600rwhp on the street lol imagine double or triple that.

Traction FTW! I love those cars!! I agree on a prepped surface the Vette would be all over.

This is going to sound retarded. But the t56's just can't hang. But what about a decent auto setup? I doubt the lambo's gear box can out shift an auto ecu. Just curious is all. But the only thing that the auto would lack would be top end...could be solved with a good locking converter? Just an idea running through my head.

LMR vette has beaten UGR cars and T1 GTR's. The vette has a power glide setup. You simply cannot hook on 2 wheels as good as you can 4 on a unprepared road.

How did I miss this vid lol I wasn't aware that was on a glide. To your point, it makes things difficult with that much power on 2 wheels instead of 4.

^^ lol yeah.... vette has power glide. Just too much power for the street. Pretty sure he's not spraying in that run either and probably is on low boost setup and you can still see how much he's spinning.

Oh well, there's a reason UGR lambos are king of the --STREET--

Vette wasnt spraying. All boost on 15psi cuz they were having fuel pump issues, but even yet it had bad traction on the street.

from TRC's Website

"These two beasts could rival to be some of the fastest street cars in the world. The LMR Corvette usually makes 2200whp when it is at the Texas Invitational (click link for 1320video footage), but when it is on the street it tames it down to a mere 1700whp through the powerglide.

The Underground Racing R-package equipped Gallardo is making 1500+whp from what the owner says, how much extra that “+” makes, is up to you to decide. TRC cameraman was riding shotgun in the LMR vette to capture the amazing footage you are about to see. The LMR car attempted to use the bottle o the second round but due to a faulty fuel pump the race couldn’t happen. I have a feeling in the near future these two insane machines will be battling it out once again!! Enjoy!"

x2 but I knew the outcome way before I clicked the video.

You just can't hook that insane power on a lightweight 2 wheels. If the vette could get traction down low I think on bottle it would puppykick the **** out of the lambo.
