update guys! i talked to the guy again today lmao and you guys were right! stock headers. all he has is a cat-back system and just added rims to it lol. he tried to downplay me again today. saying hed rather have a cammed 4.3 and that my truck will only be a 14 second truck and its too heavy yada yada yada. he also said that when i first start my motor that its probably gonna run like crap because this is my first swap and i dont know what im doing lmao. is this guy ******* jealous or what? he says ill probably end up paying someone to fix up my mistakes because i dont know what im doing, i cant wait to burn his ***.

I've seen cammed 5.3L dimes go 12's, they were rcsb's though. I'm shooyin for low to mid9's, but I'm also adding twin 67's to it.

ur s10s gonna woop him. u could give him 3 lengths and still take him easily. just make sure u beef up ur diff. the 10 bolts are known to go lol. look into a set of caltracs or slapper bars to hook better.

Big difference between beating a couple cars, and actually being faster. There were definitely some 3.8 Camaros that could beat certain GTs from that year range, but don't fool yourself into thinking you can beat any of them. Even stock, some would run away from you no contest. Kinda like my Integra
