I would bet money that is a bull **** pass.. Whether he launched bad, let off at the end, wasn't his car, etc etc. The car is faster that that slip.

I do think he is going to show.. Just to make sure both ways though we are going to exchange numbers and send pics of interstate signs every 30mins or so with the dash in the pic. Will be hard to find pics on the net showing a gt500 dash on the way to tuscaloosa and visa versa.

Got a date locked in yet? I'm only about an hour and a half from Tuscaloosa.

You can PM, if you would like.

Good luck with the runs anyway, it's all in fun after all.
What exhaust are you going with? I was thinking about saving for some longtubes this summer but alot of guys don't seem to go that route with gt500s. Maybe combine it with a t/b and lower pulley so I want need 2 diffrent tunes.

how efficient are the gt500 manifolds? i would think a nice set of LTs would help a supercharged motor...i mean, it definitely helps on NAs

From what I gather they are worth 20-30whp, But the gt500 guys dont have a cheap set of headers available to them and the install is much more of a pita than lsx cars. I think those two things keep most gt500 guys from doing them.

I know it's not the same but two locals have blown coyotes and the one with 1 7/8 longtubes only made 20rwhp more and less torque with a tvs1900 over the other with stock manifolds and a roushcharger. Both are running 9psi.

Long tube headers on the 2011+ Mustangs are definitely a PITA. I installed the set on the car mentioned above and will never do that again, willingly. Also pulling the six speed in those cars is a ******* NIGHTMARE.... and I have owned 2 F-bodies.

I am thinking Borla Atak axleback, offroad hpipe, and Kooks longtubes. This added to the car will gain around 40rwhp. Throttlebody will net another 20-30. Lower 10% pulley will only gain about 25rwhp but will gain around 50ftlb tq and torque will hit alot sooner.

The stock manifolds flow pretty good. Thats why I dont have longtubes at the top of my mod list

I just reviewed every page ... Smack talk is great here ... Let's see this happen. I love to bet but let's see the winner. For sure ... This will be in a worldwind. If this was at the right time for me and I'm in Florida, I'm in on throwing $$$ that this will be a GM win. BTW... I wish this "fast" car was in Florida when I am for destruction
